Simply delicious! I predicted this turncoat asshole would get chosen for the VEEP slot, and I couldn't be happier about it. Vance is like the new Mini-Me, a new obnoxious asshole POS who is a perfect representation of their nominee, only in miniature.

Vance is the gift that keeps on giving to Harris and the Democrats. Thank you, Jesus. It wasn't bad enough that Trump has no functional brain cell in his thick head. I knew this asshole would choose someone who was just like him, and he did.

Are They Publicly Lying To Us About Biden's COVID-19?

I hope Biden isn't far more sick than his doctors are letting on. The decision to delay making a national television address about his withdrawal has me worried. Seriously. I don't have a good feeling at all. I hope Biden doesn't pass away unexpectedly.

Biden Is Out But Inoculates Harris.

It's a sad day. Biden bowed to the inevitable and inoculated Harris from a serious challenge for the nomination in Chicago. Most Democrats will be glad that this fight is finally over. Most won't want to make further destructive interparty waves.

So, Biden has dictated the terms and almost all Democrats will rapidly fall in line behind Harris. The fun part will be watching to see who Kamala chooses as her running mate. I expect a surprise and innovative pick. Not necessarily the usual gubernatorial suspects who are assumed to be natural choices. Harris' pick will reflect her view of the world and how she wants to move forward as the likely nominee.

We're competitive now. Finally. Hope we can make the very most of it.

Trump At The Convention.

Have you ever seen more powerful political television? It was simply incredible. What a moment. Trump looks like a changed man. His speech is being rewritten.

I'm a person who tries not to hate but in all honesty, I've quite literally hated Trump since 2016. That's how it has been with Trump -- you either love or hate the guy. No in-between.

Well, let me tell you something: I turned the TV off but not for the reason you think. I actually started to feel emotional for Trump and what happened on Saturday night. So...if a sworn political enemy can unexpectedly feel that, just imagine what your average Joe and Jane could be feeling.

Kind of looks as if God wants Trump back in The White House after all. Something I would have never believed in a thousand years.

Republican Convention In Milwaukee: Feels Like We're Sleepwalking Towards Disaster.

Watching the Secret Service reps and other police agency people at that press conference did not leave me with a soothing impression.

Wisconsin is an open-carry state, and the Governor won't be suspending that right during the convention. Not good. 

It feels like a slow-motion train wreck in the making. I don't know about you, but I would be almost scared shitless if I was a delegate to that convention. Trump arrives in Milwaukee later today. 

Nothing about this feels right. It's like the assassination attempt yesterday was only Act One and that Act Two is coming, probably in a completely different manner.  My God, again not good. 

Rhetorical Boxing: Democrats In Trouble.

Democrats will have to conduct the campaign with one hand tied behind their backs. You see, Biden will do the decent thing and abandon his more pointed and divisive rhetoric, for the country's sake.

But what about Trump? Will he see the light when it comes to his rhetorical excesses or will he double down? I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

For Trump, this was almost Melon Time. He needs to think about that. The mentally and psychologically deluded act on words. Left and right.

God has given Trump a reprieve from almost certain death. He should make the most of it going forward.

The Secret Service Got Sloppy.

Remember Hinckley and Reagan? The SS and other police were not looking in the proper direction when Reagan was shot. They were looking at Reagan instead of out at the perimeter. Like everyone is saying, why was the perimeter not more than two miles, to prevent an on-target sniper shot? Exactly. 

Attack On Trump: Secret Service Will Get To Wear This.

This guy was firing from a low-level building outside the immediate perimeter. How is that possible if the Secret Service had properly secured the area? Like I said, a Trump supporter is dead and the SS has to be held accountable for that. The shooter should never have had firing access to that rally. This is a monumental security perimeter failure. It will be a career-ender for some agents.

Trump Assassination Attempt.

Well, that's it election-wise. Trump will win in a landslide. It won't make any difference whether it's Biden, Harris, or anyone else.

Biden's Press Conference.

He was strong on the issues, coming from a man in his eighties.

As a result, I can't continue in good conscience to oppose his nomination.

I hope Biden can pull it off for us in November.

Three Words Why Biden Will Lose Badly.

Independents.

Approval Rating.

Biden is already done as dinner.

Biden Wants Trump To Win.

He just doesn't know it yet. By all means, no cognitive or mental impairment tests. It's not like Biden is already unfit to serve as President.

And no details about the Parkinson's specialist he repeatedly met. Nah, that doc wasn't at The White House to evaluate Biden. It was to evaluate the Easter Bunny!

Thanks for ruining the United States by doing all you possibly can to elect Trump again. Total morons from The Prez on down.

Biden: A Different Take.

None of us who favour Biden handing off the nominee top slot to Harris are backing down. Far from it. But here I want to look at the problem from a humanist perspective.

To begin, Biden is being deluded by his closest advisors and family members. He already knows in his heart that he no longer has the right stuff to win. 

These people have no right to urge that he stay in the race when they know the level of pressure he's already experiencing to go and go now. That intensity is only going to increase exponentially. Imagine putting a man in his 80s through that. If this keeps up, as I expect it to, Biden could drop dead from all the pressure urging him to renounce his position as party nominee.

Who in good conscience can allow this unbearable situation to continue? The Establishment needs to do a Barry Goldwater to Nixon and quick. Nothing would be more tragic than to see this well-intentioned man suddenly die because of his dissipating political circumstances.

For the love of God, put an end to Biden's likely nomination and do it yesterday.
