According to a new NBCNews poll, 70% of Americans believe Biden should not run for re-election, with 51% of Democrats saying that. (The poll was taken before Biden officially announced his re-election bid).

Meanwhile, 60% of Americans, including a third of Republicans, say Trump, 76, should not run for president

From Reuters:

Seventy percent of respondents - including about half of Democrats - agreed with a statement that Biden should not seek re-election. Fifty-six percent of people responding to the poll said Trump should not run, including about a third of Republicans.

From CNN:

A CNN/SSRS poll from earlier this month found that more Americans viewed neither Biden nor Trump favorably than those who held favorable views of either man. A plurality (36%) viewed neither candidate favorably, while 33% had a favorable view of Trump and 32% for Biden. Constraining ourselves to registered voters, 31% viewed neither Biden nor Trump favorably.
