McGraw goes out of her way to help her candidate. She talks about Coderre's disqualification because he still owes taxes to the Quebec tax authorities. Since this is confidential information, can we expect the people involved at Revenu Québec to be fired? As in the case of the Hells Angels.
Obviously, this is compensation for the lack of support for Rodriguez within the Liberal caucus and among former ministers and MNAs.
Even funnier, Milliard questions the allegiance of the two candidates to Quebec, since they come from the federal arena. He is calling for a profession of faith in Quebec, in other words an allegiance to Quebec, first and foremost. What a great way to challenge the nationalist fibre of the two men from Ottawa.
And he is right to do so. Once again, there has been no transfer of powers to Quebec since Trudeau came to power in 2015. And zero questions or comments on the subject from these two federal Liberals.
Milliard is on the right track. Meanwhile, several provincial Liberals are still waiting for other star candidates to come forward before making a final decision.
