Now Is Finally The Time To Use An Opposition Day For A Non-Confidence Motion.

As you know, I've been critical of Pierre for going with two non-confidence motions that were destined to fail before the votes were counted.

BUT now, the political dynamic has totally changed: we've got over twenty Liberal MPs who are disgruntled and pissed off that Mr.WonderfulTM has assured all of them of his continued leadership. These MPs know that the party under Trudeau probably will be decimated in the next election. In fact, they will likely do even worse than Ignatieff did.

The dissident MPs have thrown down a marker and now they have to do something with it. Basically, they have only two choices: they can bolt from caucus and vote non-confidence, or if they really have the guts, they can remain as Liberal MPs and still vote non-confidence. If they do either, Trudeau and his semi-competents are gone.

So, all of this bodes well for a non-confidence motion. The only caveat is whether the Bloc will come along. If the BQ does, an early election will be in the bag.
